Dr. Brandial Bright (Ph.D) has become one of the leading authorities in Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) in the State of South Carolina. From her recent thesis on Human and Technology Factors in Fully Automated Autonomous Vehicles, she has exposed the gaps in approach and design in the struggle to create safe autonomous driving vehicles in our age.

Brandial is more than ready to take on the established thinking of those who find self-driving cars unfathomable. Dr. Bright received her BSc from the University of South Carolina, where she enrolled at age 16. She obtained her Masters of Business in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix, and completed her Ph.D at Robert Morris University.

Dr. Bright grew up in Salley, South Carolina, and has spent most of her corporate career at DHL and Volvo Cars, seeing the emergence of self-driving vehicles (AVs) in a variety of positions, including Regulatory Trade and Compliance.

Dr. Bright is the managing partner at Fifth Level Consulting, a firm dedicated to the acceleration of policy and practice of manufacturing AVs in the U.S. She is an accomplished author, with many articles published and a well-recognized speaker. Dr. Bright finds relaxation in reading and being a mom to her daughter.
